Processes and Methods

Every project is different and every product is unique.
Like the user, no two projects are the same.
However, these are the core principles I tend to adhere to
when endeavoring to apply beautiful and user-focused writing.

1. RESEARCH

Getting to know the project

Define the problem, assign a goal, develop a purpose.

2. UNDERSTAND

Getting to know the user

Interview users using questionnaires, develop user stories, evaluate potential usability.

3. SYNTHESIS

Collaborate with the team

Understand user journeys, analyze user needs, bring to life personas.

4. COMPOSITION

Bringing the product to life

Embed relevant copy into the design system based on the anticipated product and user needs.

5. EVALUATION

Gathering feedback and insight

Deploy A/B tests, treejack sessions, card sorting, user surveys, et al.

6. REPETITION

Do it all again

Understand user journeys, analyze user needs, bring to life personas.
